Review: Khandige Organic Nilibringadi Oil

Beauty has these days become an inevitable part of our lives and the expenses on skin and haircare have increased many folds in this past decade. But after applying all these luxurious and expensive products , still many of us face issues on our skin and hair. It’s very simple to understand that these chemicals and synthetic products are not going to serve any purpose unless you strengthen your roots back with natural products.

So today lets talk about an all organic and natural hair product which not only combats hair issues but gives lustre and strength to them as well. It is Nilibringadi oil from Khandige Organic. This is their second hair care product that I’ve used after my absolute favourite Bhringamalakadi oil and believe me this too is filled with hair goodness.

Khandige Organic Health Products based at Bangalore is into the manufacturing of authentic Ayurveda, and wellness products like nutritional supplements, medicines, food made using potent herbs sourced from certified organic suppliers. The company owns four large estates amounting to over thousand acres of land holding, numerous farms and fully certified manufacturing facilities producing and marketing certified organic products in India and abroad.

Certification of protection

As per company’s website, The certification process is extremely stringent and covers all aspects of organic farming and production of organic products including the packaging methods, storage of raw materials and finished goods to prevent mixing with conventional products that might also be used. The treatment method is used to prevent contamination, and sampling and analysis methods are used for checking purity of the products.

Product Description

This oil is housed in a dark brown glass bottle with a plastic closure. It does comes with an anti spill middle cap . The oil itself is dark in colour and is of runny consistency. It smells herbal (but not awful!)

Nilibhrngadi is an Ayurvedic herbal hair oil based on sesame oil, It gives luster and a pleasant smell to hair. Nilibhrngadi oil prevents hair loss, prevents dandruff, and fights premature graying of hair. It is also good for sukhanidra (good sleep). It has a soothing effect on the brain and nervous system. A calm brain helps you organize your day in the most effective manner, while avoiding instances of stress and tension

Ingredients

Each 100ml of this certified organic oil contains:

Coconut Oil: It adds luster, shine and softness to the hair preventing hair breakage and split ends.

Sesame Oil”:It is enriched with Vitamin E, B complex and is used for hair growth and to maintain scalp health.

Cow Milk” Nili(Indigofera tinctoria): It works to restore natural shine and luster of the hair while strengthening its structure.

Bhrngaraja(Ecliptaalba): It helps in boosting the blood circulation to the scalp, stimulating it and triggering hair growth.

Shatakraculaca(Cardispermum helicacabum): It has anti-inflammatory, antidiarrheal, antiparasitic, antipyretic, antifilarial, and anxiolytic properties.

Amalaki (Emblica Officinalis): Being rich in antioxidants, it optimizes nourishment to hair follicles and increases hair growth.

Yastimadhu(Glycyrrhiza glabra): It helps prevent hair loss,especially beneficial in male pattern baldness.

Gunjamula(Arbus Precatorious): It is a nerve stimulant and is widely used for alopecia and skin diseases.

Daruharidra(Coscinium Fenestratum): It helps in inflammation, itching and infection.

Directions to use

Apply sufficient quantity on head regularly either 24hours before head wash or as hair oil. Massage the scalp with mild finger tips after oil application.

Conclusion

Pros

It is made from all natural and organic products.
It strengthens the hair, controls dandruff & itchiness and stops hairfall.
The ingredients present in this oil stimulate hair growth, deal in scalp acne or infections, help in combatting premature greying and baldness.
It also has antifungal, antimicrobial & antibacterial properties.
It absorbs nicely and doesn’t feel heavy on the head.
It can be used by both men and women.
It does help in getting a good night sleep with a calming effect.
Because of its herbal and natural properties, it has no adverse effect on the hair.
As far as its property of blackening the grey hair is concerned, I have to use to for a long period to see the results. I’ll definitely update you.

Cons

The smell of this oil could be a downside for some. But remember medicines are bitter to taste.

Khandige Organic products have never failed to impress me. They are naturally sourced and certified. This oil too is not an exception. So if you are dealing with hair issues mentioned above, this one can definitely come to your rescue.
